It really doesn't get any more basic than this. Especially when you have a label like this one here.
This was the label. Really.
Now read on to find out why I bought the cream.
Technically, the hubs bought it. And needless to say, it was for his eczema. A doctor had prescribed this and so he's been on the hunt for his "aqua cream" since. I've only ever seen this in Caring Pharmacy.
As its label implies, this is an absolutely no-frills product. It's meant to moisturise, and that's all it does. There is no scent, no perfume, no extras.
How does it perform? Well, despite it's terribly boring packaging (even if the other side is slightly better), I'm glad to say it works rather well for the hubs. Since getting this, he says he's been able to get a good night's sleep as he doesn't wake up in the middle of the night with itchy and dry legs. Not bad at all, if you ask me.
"It's a great base (for his other creams and ointments). And I don't get itchy," said he.
That was as much as I could get out of him when I asked him to do a review on this product. Ah well.
The product itself is thick (reminds me of good old hair cream), so just a little will do. If it feels a little greasy initially, just rub the product into the skin a little more.
And for RM15 for 500g, you sure get a whole lot of bang for your buck. Just compare the size of that tub with my beloved Dove Body Silk (300ml).
Would I repurchase? I doubt I would, since I find it a little boring for myself (I would so much rather a moisturiser that smells of vanilla or cocoa butter), but if you're like the hubs who just needs a good basic moisturiser, and you don't really mind your parabens, then this might be just what you're looking for.
Any takers?

Ah, good old Aqua cream... I know that tub well - I've gone through 2 huge tubs myself! Hey, for a cooling treat, stick it in the fridge! Works wonders to soothe inflamed and itchy skin... hehehe... :)
my tub came from the hospital. I moisturizes but doesn't treat the eczema so I've been using creams that moisturize AND treat eczema to a certain degree.
Add a few drops of Vanilla essential oil to fragrance.
I got mine from the hospital too. The skin on my hands are always peeling very badly and the doc prescribed this along with Emulsifying Ointment, which works even better than the aqueous cream. But the ointment is kinda oily so I just use it at night before bed and the next morning my hands are not flaking anymore!
can it put on our face and neck?
Lol...u know how much I bought? RM60!!!! And u only bought for RM15??? Where u bought actually....?
