Small miracles - Goody Spin Pins

Hong Kong's weather this time of year is scorching. Sure Malaysia's hot too, but there I have a car, here I take public transport and I WALK. Having my hair down is out of the question. So I'm eternally glad I picked up these little darlings on my trip to Shanghai.

By the way, WHY are these things available in Shanghai and not Hong Kong? WHY??

Because they are beyond fabulous. Each one does the work of "20 bobby pins" and hold up my hair without damaging the strands or being remotely uncomfortable - unless I screw the bun to tight that is.

They also let me do this...

In about the same amount of time as it takes to do a pony tail. Here's another view:
I picked up the spin pins from Watsons Shanghai for about RMB50 and have been kicking myself ever since that I didn't buy backups AND the mini spin pins (they're smaller and will allow styles like this).

Please Goody... at least ship internationally for a decent price. I beg you!

Oh the flower's from H&M in case you were wondering.

I found my spin pins in This And That (F Block's accessory shop), and I saw then in Sinma, though they have some pearl or faux jewel on them.

I love them, they allowed me to do a beautiful updo when I wore my yukata to the Bon Odori this year :)

Plue: Saw your tweet! Funny how these things show up once you know they exist huh?

KaiLing: I will certainly do that when I visit Msia.

Steph: Plus just found them there! THey're in Sunway Giza right? I'm definitely STOCKING UP.
