Summer Lovin

The summer sun may be eluding us here in England, but that doesn't stop our beloved beauty gurus from concocting gorgeous summer looks to tempt our wallets and make us feel so loverly.

Here are our favourite elements from this year's Summer Collections

Foundation
The finish is translucent and natural. Not too matte, not too dewy or glowy.

Eyes
The eyes have it this summer. Gently emphasise them using cool, yet natural, taupe and grey shades in shimmery finishes. Natural black eyeliner, and lashings of black mascara finish off the look.

Cheeks
Matte neutral bronze under the cheek bones, with a hint of champagne / faintly pink highlighter on the apples gives this season's subtle yet glowy look.

Lips
Neutral ranging slightly to warm shades on the lips in a glossy but not sparkly finish provide just enough contrast with cooler-shaded eyes to make them really pop. The juxtaposition with neutral-cool eyes and neutral-warm lips are what really make this year's summer stand out from the rest. Alternatively, for a pop of colour, take a leaf out of Estee Lauder and don a bright fuschia or berry gloss.
