Guest Review: Isocol Rubbing Alcohol

I am so delighted that Eli, our star guest reviewer has elected to talk about this product. Sure it's unlikely, but I've personally been hunting high and low for an alcohol solvent. Anyone know where I can buy one in Malaysia?

Wipe that shocked look off your faces. It doesn’t look pretty but this lil’ alligator has managed to rid of the annoying pimples which have plagued me all year.

My skin has been behaving itself pretty well for the past few years so when this irritating cluster of pimples kept popping up on my cheek this year, I got really annoyed. Like really, REALLY ANNOYED.

I was on the phone with my boyfriend when I realised that it was my darn handphone which was making me break out. The pimples were located around the areas where the phone was resting against my face.

No wonder those weeny bastards weren’t going away.

That was two weeks ago. Since then, I have been disinfecting my phone regularly and my skin is finally clearing up. Phew.

I am giving this green bottle a permanent spot in my bathroom because there are so many ways to use it!

- Disinfecting my phone, laptop, mouse, tweezers etc.
- Cleaning makeup brushes so I don’t have to wash them so frequently
- zapping zits (Some people swear by this. I tried it on one zit and the alcohol fumes had me running around in circles. This is only for the brave)
- Pressing loose pigments

You can get Isocol off the shelves from any pharmacy in Australia. The day I went a-hunting, it was sold out in most pharmacies. It’s 375ml for AUD10.95 and a bottle will last for quite a while.

every single pharmacy has rubbing alcohol...all you have to do is ask? The most common one I see is labeled 'methylated spirit', goes for around rm6
