Spotted: New Silky Girl Eyeshadow Quad looks strangely familiar...

Does this remind of you any other brand? Say... one that starts with an R?

I spotted this at Bangsar Village's Grocer and thought it looked rather nice. Thing is, no testers, so I couldn't swatch. And no prices. Actually they had put it in with the Revlon Quads (which are RM45) so it looks like they got mixed up too!

Anyone else seen this? Tried it out? I'm curious!

They had lots of other colours but this green one really caught my eye.

i actually swatched them, the green palette, and they came out pretty ok, not too bad for drugstore e/s :) leaning a bit to the sheer side, but if u use a primer, it should come out ok :)

Their name of the e/s was a little extravaganza. Blockbuster palette? Hehehe...makes me laugh!

lynn, it cost like Rm18.90 if I'm not mistaken. I did a price spy on it.

I remember Daiso had a green palette like this too. But it only had the first, third and fourth colours.

plue: Ooh thanks babe, for the price it looks like it could be a fun buy

Lynn: Me too! I like the tube-design god help me.

Traclyn: Ooh awesome girl, thanks for the spy-info. =D How cool is it that it's less than 50% the cost of Revlon. And since the makers of SG distribute Revlon... who knows it may even be a very similar product. Don't forget they used to distribute Wet 'n' Wild and many SG products are the same.

Syn: I have no idea where to find a green es with pink undertones. It sounds interesting, do let us know if you ever find one!

Eli: It was too sparkly that Daiso one. I think I know what you're talking about...

Bee: Why would she come after me? She can go after the RM19 palette!

I was tempted! But... do I need more eyeshadows that I don't really long for?

Kahani said...

Connie: Do you find yourself buying stuff you don't really long for just because it'd make a good blog post? I have to stop myself doing that!

report: i went to guardian to check, it was rm22.90. and got quite some nice colors!

PrettyB: Thanks so much for playing detective! I think RM22.90 is still not to bad, would have preferred it under RM20 though! ;) If I am very drawn to a palette I may indulge myself.

Woohoo! Looks like some pretty greens. I used to like the texture of the Silkygirl Duos damn their impossible color combinations. But this green looks promising. Time to hit up a pharmacy!
