Great Time Saver: St Ives Exfoliating Apricot Moisturising Body Wash

I am not a morning person.

Anyone who knows me, knows that. Which brings me to a slight problem.

I love my morning showers, but I always seem to be in a rush. If I can sleep in for just an extra five minutes, I will. But I like to shower in the morning before I head out too. And sometimes, a little scrub while I'm in the bath wouldn't hurt either.

So what's a girl to do when she needs a morning-perk-me-up-showercumscrub-but-dang-I've-only-got-five-minutes? Well, meet my answer: St Ives Exfoliating Apricot Body Wash.

A body wash that contains apricot extracts and jojoba beads, it cleanses and provides a lovely mild and gentle exfoliation at the same time. If you have sensitive skin and find that body scrubs are just too harsh for your delicate skin, this might be a good option to check out too.

My skin always feels great after a rendezvous in the shower with this. It is moisturising enough that my skin feels comfortable, without any hint of dryness.

Of course, it also doesn't hurt at all that this body wash also has a delightful fruity scent which helps me wake up just a little bit more. Until I have caffeine in my system, I never fully awake.

For about RM16 for a 400ml bottle, I think it's very reasonably priced.

This body wash reminds of two-in-one coffee. So I get my morning shower, with a nice little scrub, and I still make it out of the shower in five minutes. Not bad, eh?

Of course, no one's stopping you if you want to take more than five minutes with it.

Ohh this is my absolute fave too! Never looked at another shower gel after finding this gem a few years ago.

You're right about it being gentle enough on the skin yet making you feel super clean and fresh, and the smell is just what you need to give your senses a gentle jolt in the mornings.

Saw the 400ml on sale at rm9.90 during a Guardian sale so I stocked up! :)

RM9.90 at a Guardian sale? I wouldn't mind trying it out at that price.

But having said that, I have yet to get through even 1/4th of my Body Shop scrub and am super lazy at using it diligently, so maybe I should pass on this one. :P

syen, high 5! i'd skip my morning shower so i can sleep an extra 5 mins :P i really really do that...

unless i am super chirpy that day (which rarely happens).

i have the other 2 variants, the sea one and the other citrus? i have eyeing this very long, but given i have loads of body scrubs not finished, i'm strictly forbidding myself in getting this :P

LOL@ comparing this to coffee, that's funny! I like instant coffee because it saves time, and this sounds like it saves a lot of time!!!

Eliza: Hello there! Okay, unfortunately, I'm hardly as loyal to this body wash as you are! LOL. I love this, but have a heapful of other body washes to play around with as well. Will keep an eye out for that RM9.90 offer price. Sounds really worth it. Thanks for the note! =)

rinnah: Yes, be good. And finish your TBS one first. =P

Plue: I've never tried the sea one, and I know I'll hate the citrus one. Heheh.. same advice to you as I gave rinnah. Be good and finish up your scrubs first. *tee hee*

Kimberly: Hello! Yes, we have received your email, and Kahani has replied to it.Keep up the good work!

Nikki: LOL. It does! Awesome, isn't it? But when it comes to coffee, I like my own formula. The 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 now taste too sweet for my liking.

This is truly a fun way to combine the shower and scrub time on busy mornings...I used to use this regularly, until I stumbled upon guardian's own scrub gel product - it was green tea scented - my big weakness and now I have a new favourite :)

Oh I like this one.Smells amazing. The person who recommended this to me was actually my brother. One day on a trip to Tesco, he kept telling me to get the body wash with the jojoba beads, that it was really good. Thing is, he kept pronouncing it as JOE-JOE-BA, which tickled me to no end, even after I corrected him.

Gypsy: Hahaha..I've also tried that scrub, but I still prefer this. =P

LyNn: Err... try checking out Guardian as well? St Ives usually isn't that hard to find, especially in the bigger outlets.

Tine: LOL. A slight confession, I used to call it joe-joe-ba too. Didn't know better what. =P
