My Favourite Things: Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter (Mini)

It would appear that I have found a new travel companion. Whether it's a short balik kampung (back to the hometown) trip, or one out of the country, I now have a new friend I tote along for these occasions.

Because it's just perfect for it. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter (Mini), now a firm favourite of mine.

How much do I love it? Read on to find out.

As a body butter, it sure delivers in providing moisturisation, with it's softening shea butter and aloe vera. But better yet, it doesn't quite have the greasy reputation that many other body butters have. My hands were just feeling a tad dry as I was typing this, and so I conveniently whipped a little out and slathered it over my hands.

And continued typing. No greasy stains on the keyboard yet! Wonderful!

(It sure makes for an excellent hand cream too!)

As for the scent, it is to die for. It carries Soap & Glory's signature scent, and is simply divine. A blend of "bergamot, strawberries and mandarin, with floral and fruity mid notes and musk, amber and warm vanilla notes on the bottom", it has fruity, floral and vanilla all mixed together in a wonderful concoction that just does wonders to lift my mood and makes me all happy inside.

(Compared with The Body Shop's Moringa Body Scrub, so you can see how teeny it is. Cute!)

But what makes it a real travel champion is the mini 50ml packaging. Packed in a teeny-weeny pink container (so cute), it's perfect to be toted everywhere, even on a plane. Toss it into your transparent bag for your liquids and you'll be assured of happy, moisturised skin when you arrive at your destination.

I picked this tubby up in the UK in a Buy 3 For 2 promo, so it was less than the £2.25 (~RM11) it usually retails for in Boots. Big tubs (300ml) go for £10 (~RM50).

I don't know if I would purchase a big tub (seeing as moisturiser's my middle name), but I suppose I wouldn't mind picking up another mini one for when I'm on the go.

It's moisturising, it smells incredible, and it's perfect for travel. This one's a winner alright! Care to try?

Totally agree! I picked up a mini tub when I was in England for three weeks, and it finished just before I left - the smell's heavenly and the texture isn't too oily. Plus the fragrance lasts all day.

I'm not sure how it would fare on my skin back in Malaysia (my skin tends to flare with eczema cos of work) but it worked wonderfully on eczema clear skin.

Petra: You finished it in 3 weeks?? Wow. Granted, I really slapped my moisturiser on when I was there too. LOL. Too drying. Over here, I don't use it all over. It's great as a hand cream, and I use on the extra dry spots, if I want to. Over the lighter moisturiser. Seems to work. Not sure about the eczema bit though, coz the hubs doesn't use this.

[miss hazel]: Agree! =)

xin: Yeah, it's really too bad. Hope it comes over soon. So unfair isn't it? That Thailand and Sg has it, and we don't. Heh. =P
