Finally: Estee Lauder's Pure White Linen

I finally got it! I have been hankering after Estee Lauder's Pure White Linen since my first whiff years ago but to indecision, constant moving and lack of opportunity, I never got around to it.

Until now, that is.

I am absolutely crap at analysing perfumes so I am not even going to try. (Seriously, how are red tulips supposed smell like? I always thought that tulips were scentless) All I can say is that the scent is fruity and floral.

Being light and not overly cloying, I find this perfume is an absolute joy to use in hot and humid Malaysian weather. I notice that strong scents send me bonkers come lunchtime. A light whiff of this brightens me up immediately after lunchtime and puts a smile on my face.

Fresh and feminine, I think that this is the perfect perfume to use on work days as it seems to complement my office attire. Sounds whack and it's probably all in my head but I am not going to go to work smelling like blood and cum. I would probably feel like a bitch in heat and have a weird look on my face the whole day.

I forgot how much the larger bottle retails for but the 50ml bottle retails for RM210 at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Visa card members are entitled to a 5% discount off all cosmetics (except for Chanel and another 2 brands) purchased from the domestic KLIA terminal. I think this promotion ends in July.

(Btw, another light scent I am eyeing for Miss Dior Cherie L'Eau. Maybe for my birthday?)
