Frat Boy loving. theBalm's, that is.

Hello lovelies,

How's the week been treating you?

I've missed talking about colour for a bit, so this week I'll be reviewing theBalm's Frat Boy blush.

I know the name alone is a little put-offish for some, but if you're able to get past it, it's a really lovely blush to get to know. So read on to find out more!

It's been around in the market for a while now, and of late, I've found myself reaching for this blush a lot. For a girl who has ... uhh.. no idea how many blushes, going back regularly for a single blush, believe me, it means something.

theBalm calls this shade a peachy-apricot, and I think I'll agree with that description. It should work for both warm and cool toned girls, but as a warm-toned girl, I have to say, this just works effortlessly.

Pigment wise, it's pigmented enough to show up on the skin with just one swipe for a natural flush, but if you want a little more of a pop of colour, two swipes should just about do it.

When applied, Frat Boy has a lovely sheen to it that makes you look like you've got a bit of a glow. I just love how it brightens up my face everytime I wear it.

At RM65 for 8.5g (if I remember correctly), I'd say it's rather decently priced. And I actually like the packaging. The ultra slim cardboard makes it really easy to tote around when I'm on the go, and would fit easily into any makeup bag.

So what do I think? I really, really love it.

Have you given Frat Boy a try?

I really like this blush too. Beautifully pigmented, and looks great on the cheeks :)

A very nice, blogger friend gave me this as a gift *winks* and I love this so much that I had to sacrifice a bit by putting this inside my makeup train case as I enjoyed using this on clients! I really love this and works on most skin tone!

I picked up a lot of Benefit box o powder blush last month. I had to sacrifice my theBalm blush hankerings for them.

But temptation surrounds me, crooning the words: theBalm, hot mama, bahama mama, down boy, cabana boy and frat boy... I don't know how much longer I can hold out lor...

Tine: Yay! =)

Nikki: Don't forget to use it on yourself too! Lol.

Plue: Hehehe.

Milktea: If you want to start with theBalm, I strongly suggest Down Boy and Frat Boy first. I reach for both of them the most. =P
