Review: Nivea / Labello Fruit Shine Dragonfruit Lip Balm

So my first transcontinental lip balm swap with Labello Collector Janina Hidler worked wonderfully. She was sweet enough to let me have a now discountinued LE Labello Lip Balm in Passion Fruit and two of the newer Dragonfruit which I pray they never discountinue because true to form for me, I LOVE IT.

Why this isn't available in Asia (except in India, as far as I can tell) I'll never know. It's a cool pink with minute particles of shimmer (you can't see it on the lips). Like Pomegranate it appears really pigmented on me - one stroke gives me a tint, two strokes a vibrant wash of colour.

Why these balms show up so well on my lips is actually a bit of a mystery. They really aren't as vibrant on Syen for example. Then again I don't have pigmented lips which is why I'm tinted balm and lipstain obsessed!

Two strokes of balm with nothing else here, in natural sunlight.

Conclusion
I am so stockpiling this whenever and wherever I can. I have a spare tube, which makes me happy. I have no idea how much these cost as I got them via a swap from Germany. Thanks Janina!

Hahaha. I love it because it doesn't turn out quite so pink on me. But it's lovely all the same. I have a feeling I'm going to be a little more Nivea mad during my travels now. =P

They're available in Bangladesh too! We have very limited variants here like Cherry, Strawberry, Classic, Milk and Honey, Pearly Shine and Soft Rose. I'm a Labello fanatic, so I've used every type listed above! I've also written quite a few reviews on them over at my blog. My cousin brought me the Dragon Fruit from Germany, I'm saving it for Spring and Summer. :)

They've discontinued Dragon Fruit flavor... It's substituted by the new Labello/Nivea Guave. I have to say those flavors are pretty the same.
Let me know if you want one ;-)

Ooh thanks Janina. I'm relocating to HK so let me get there, see what they have and maybe we'll do another swap! =P
