Found it! Perfect Daily Scrub

Syen's raves about Neutrogena's Deep Clean Gentle Scrub that only seems to be available in Asia, renewed in me a longing for the clear, even skin granted by an excellent daily scrub. After much hunting, leading me from Neutrogena's Deep Clean Invigorating Scrub (terrible! It broke me out) to Clean & Clear's Morning Burst Daily Scrub (did nothing for skin clarity), and to Clearasil's Ultra Deep Pore Cleansing Scrub (too harsh!) I finally found it back with Neutrogena.

Neutrogena's Visibly Clear Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub (£3.79) has everything I loved in their Deep Clean Gentle Scrub, except the delicious orange scent. Visibly Clear smells downright chemical!

Like Deep Clean Gentle, this scrub has fine microbeads that physically exfoliate coupled with a chemical exfoliant (salicylic acid), in a soothing cream base. The trick with these dual scrubs, is not to slap it on, scrub like mad and wash it off. That will leave you with angry red skin, and you won't fully appreciate the product's worth.

How to use:
Smooth it onto damp skin, and let it sit for 5-10 seconds. This will allow the water on your skin to activate the salicylic acid present in the scrub (acid needs water to work). The acid works by breaking down the sebum binding surface dead skin cells together. Once the acid has had a chance to work, massage the cleanser into you skin gently. The microbeads will sweep away the now loosened skin-cells revealing fresh glowing skin. Daily use should prevent and treat blackheads. But easy does it, don't be too rough! When used properly the cleanser is gentle enough for daily use.
