Favourite Things: Johnson's pH5.5 Bodywash(es)

Can it be? Is it possible???

And if you're wondering what's all the fuss that I'm making, it's to do with the fact that I've never reviewed the Johnson's pH5.5 bodywash(es).

I've run through at least five or six massive 1L bottles of these. But why it's never crossed my mind to review them, I have no idea. In fact, it was only when I got started on a new bottle yesterday when I realised how badly overdue a review was.

I mean, this stuff is HG.

Ah well. Let's get on with it then.

As I've said earlier, this stuff is HG. I've always had a bottle (or two. Yes. Two.) in my bathroom for a long, loooong while now, and I just can't do without this stuff. Despite all the extras I buy all the time to try out and play with, this bodywash is the top dude. And it doesn't look like that's about to change anytime soon.

It's the anchor in my mad maelstorm of bodywashes and shower gels. Yes, because I'm melodramatic like that.

As far as I know, there are three varients in this pH5.5 range. The 2in1 bodywash with Moisturiser, Honey, and Almond Oil. I've tried all three and I love all of 'em. Scent wise, they're all relatively mild and soothing.

They lather quite well, and wash off easily. They're moisturising (obviously, the "with moisturiser" varient being the most moisturising) and my skin feels great after a bath. If they're mild enough for baby or the kids, they should be mild enough for you grown-ups. Well, most of you.

It's definitely mild enough even for my uhh... bits. Whatever else I choose to shower with on any given day, it's still this for my bits. *blush*

Hubs, who has eczema, also says his skin "feels comfortable" when he showers with this, so those of you with eczema might wanna give this a shot.

Also, at RM13.90 for a 1L bottle, it's really cheap as chips. The photo at the top shows the regular 750ml bottle (right), but I usually wait for the 1L bottles (top, left) to come along. They're the same price, after all.

And since it's so cheap, you also wouldn't mind slathering it on for a shave. After all, there'll always be more in the drugstore.

Frankly, if you're looking for a good, basic, moisturising bodywash that doesn't cost you a bomb, and doesn't dump a whole load of perfume on you - this is it.

Seriously.

I love this body wash! Everytime there's a sale on Priceline for this, I'd stock up a packet or two (refills). My favourite's the extra rich body wash. Oozy thick goodness :P
