Review: Nature's Gate Organics C for Yourself Vitamin C Serum

A new-found love, I found this gem of a product in my local organic shop not long after bewailing the failure of TBS Skin Boost to work for my skin under Malaysian weather conditions.

"Tell me if it works," the shop owner told me as she rang up my sale. "I only brought it in 5 bottles so some feedback would be nice."

I popped by her shop a few weeks later. "It works," I said with a smile, "you had better bring in more."

Lightweight with a pleasant scent of bitter orange oil, this is quite a lovely product to use in the morning. The light scent wakes you up and since it sinks so quickly into your skin, you don't have to wait long to apply moisturiser.

Ever since I have started using this, my skin is clearer and acne scars have been healing faster. Heads up to those after fairer skin, my skin is now a good two tones lighter than my arms and I have noticed that the skin on my face and neck recovers faster from sunburn these days (ie. 2 days instead of the usual week).

Two pumps are sufficient to cover your face and neck. As I only use this in the morning, I think a bottle of this serum would last for about 4-6 months.

At RM82.90 a pop, this is not exactly a budget buy. However, this is for a 50ml bottle and I think it's a lot more worthwhile than TBS Skin Boost which retails at RM85 for 30ml.

Plus, it works.

I am not sure where you can find the Nature's Gate range in West Malaysia (leave a shout out below if you have spotted it) but this can be found in Sabah from the Sunlight Organic Shop, Damai. It might have sold out by now though...

Oops! Apologies ladies. This post was meant for Thursday, but was accidentally posted today. So next post will be Friday!

Gotta say that it's really weird when you are tanned everywhere except your face. Think I need an extra bottle for my arms.
