The Beauty in Life
Reaching home last night, I was informed of the passing of a colleague whom I knew fairly well. He suffered from a heart attack at home, and never made it to the hospital. He was only in his 40s.
He was a big man, with a big smile, and a huge laugh. You could always tell when he was around. People laughed wherever he went. He laughed with all, and he was loved by all.
His passing has certainly come as a shocker to those of us knew him.
And I can not help but wonder at how easy it is for us, in the hustle and bustle of this hurried world, to forget to take a step back, and just appreciate being alive.
To look up from that laptop, and look hard at those around us. And tell them how much they mean to us. I'd like to just take a moment today, to suggest for us all to look up from that screen, and take a good look around. There is beauty in life.
RIP buddy. You will be sorely missed.

Condolences, Syen.
so young at his age and missed half of his life to enjoy the rest of the world. Somehow he may find peace in heaven and condolence.
