It's a lazy Friday this week, so let's just keep things light and easy, shall we?
Thinking of my makeup routine (that includes the putting on and taking off) these days, I realise that I've included quite a few new items into my routine, and they're now slowly becoming a habit.
Read on to find out what I'm doing different now!
1. I use eyeshadow. There was a time, in the not too distant past, when work makeup consisted of powder foundation, blush and lipstick. Even though I had amassed this ridiculous number of eyeshadows and palettes. So to fix that, I've been diligently wearing eyeshadow. Every day. And it's not just that...
2. I wear eyeliner everyday too. Believe it or not. Eyeliner is a daily affair now. I know this sounds crazy but I never could wear eyeliner previously. It was just too difficult. And one day I watched a Lisa Eldridge video, and suddenly I could. It sounds nuts, but really, it's true. My fave liners are from Prestige and MAC. (But nope, I still don't wear mascara.)
3. I use cleasing oil. Just as the amount of makeup I've been wearing has increased, so has the need to efficiently and thoroughly remove all of it at the end of the day. And I've found no better makeup remover than my oil cleansers. This coming from a girl who used to love cream cleansers. My new favourites? The Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil and the Kanebo Freshel White C Cleansing Oil.
4. Moisturising my hands. I have a tonne of body lotions and I'm finally putting them to good use too. As far as I can tell, my hands and legs aren't complaining.
That's pretty much all the new beauty habits I've picked up of late.
What about you? Picked up any new habits lately?
