Goodness!!!
It's the LAST Friday of 2011. New Year is almost upon us, and I cannot wait for what's in store in the coming year. (LOTS on my plate, believe me. Oh goody!)
But before we bid au revoir to 2011, I would like to share with you my favourite things from 2011. From high end to budget, Chanel to Sleek MakeUP, here are some of my favourite stuff of the year.
1. MAC Cham-Pale Paint Pots. I believe this purchase pretty much gave me a kick-start in seriously using cream eyeshadows. A bevy of cream shadows soon followed including more of Estee Lauder's Double Wear Shadow Cremes, and my current absolute holy grail (HG) product - MUFE's Aqua Creams.

Beauty Roundup and a little more...
Hello lovelies,
This was supposed to be up yesterday, but I was horribly busy, so ah well... it's on today.
And now for a little more random stuff.

- One of the few Benefit blushers I don't have, Paris of My Women Stuff talks about this one that makes her heart Thrrrob.
- If your previous experience with Ascience hair products have left you with hay, Connie of Skindeco might change your mind about their Shine Therapy range.
- Mousse? For sunblock? I'll let Lipglosseater Jenn tell you more about it.
- I'm always on the lookout for a great powder foundation. And Nikki of Askmewhats is sorely tempting me with this.
- Detox while you sleep. I am honestly fascinated by this detoxing spree that Xin of Prettybeautiful has going on. Seriously!
And now for a little more random stuff.

So. What's 2011 like for you so far?

Anyway, I know this seems a little passe, but before I go forth and tell you what I'm eyeing from a few Spring collections *grin*, here are what the ladies have been up to in Dec last year.
And now for the Spring collections that I'm rather tempted by!

Monday's Beauty Roundup: Oct 2010
Right. It's NOVEMBER already.
Another month or so, we'll be celebrating Christmas. And then it'll be New Year. And then it'll be 2011. Another year.
I don't wanna grow up. Sigh.
Anyway, while I sort out my Ihavegottobeagrownup issues, here's what the ladies have been up to in Oct.

- Beetrice went out and had her makeup splurge of the year on a mighty fine lipstick.

Monday's Beauty Roundup: April, 2010
Helloooo lovelies!
It's yet another Monday, which I hope is the start of a great week ahead for everyone. How was your weekend? Mine was quite eventful with travel planning, catching up with some friends and celebrating a dear aunt's birthday.
Anyway, here's what some of my blogging sistas have been kept busy with in April!
And now, just a little something to share with you girls after the jump.

My current bag-staple. A medium size brown Dotti tote I picked up in Oz early last year. Got it at such a bargain at a DFO - AU$10! I just love the braid detailing. Only slight prob is that it gets heated up super (duper) quick. Weird.

AND I finally put that bag organiser (a gift from Kahani) to good use! Thanks dearie! While it doesn't look big at all, this bag can surprisingly store A LOT. It's my work and weekend bag, so everything goes into it: purse, mobile phone, makeup bags, lipstick pouch, lipbalm stash, pens, notepad and voice recorder (tools of the trade), migraine and sinus pills, keys, moisturisers, card holder, hairclips, tissue paper, and a rolled up pashmina too!
Seriously loving how neat my bag is now. Awesome!

- ParisB from My Women Stuff has me going ga-ga over the Les Floralies Earths Organics Salt Scrub. But the price has got me gawking too. Sigh.
- Nikki from Askmewhats goes for a lovely makeover at Bobbi Brown! With a step-by-step guide too, if you want to look at pretty as she does.
- Want a little introduction to Seoul, Korea? Xin from Pretty Beautiful shares her take on the makeup shopping and tromping around DongDaeMun.
- Love it or hate it? Connie of Skindeco can't quite decide how she feels for the LUSH Buffy Body Butter. Maybe it's a love-hate relationship?
- Jenn the Lipglosseater sorely tempts the traveler in me with amazing photos of her recent trip to Bangkok. The food, the SHOPPING! You're gonna want to see the photos. Really.

Monday's Beauty Roundup: March, 2010
Hello dearies,
How was your weekend? Mine saw my brand new spanking bookshelves arriving, and I'm mucho happy about it. Believe it or not, my books have been packed up in their boxes since way before I moved (after the wedding) and there they remained until now as I hadn't managed to get new shelves to house them. But no longer! Wheee! =)
Anyway, the month of March is almost over. So let's see what the other blogging ladies have been up to this whole month!
Now continue reading for a little something I thought I'd share with you girls.
Knowing that Smashbox's Heartbreaker collection was now available in KL, I made a mad dash to their only counter yesterday to check out... Baked Starlight. Of course. A quick try showed that it was pigmented enough to show on me, so naturally, I caved. That cost me RM116.

And then the sales assistant had to tell me that with a purchase, that entitled me to a Fusion Blush in Regal for a mere RM59. Regal is an LE from an old collection, and something I'd been eyeing before but never purchased because it cost a lot more then. But for RM59... Gah! Why did she have to hit my soft-spot?
And that is how those two blushers are now sitting on my dresser. Anyway, for the rest of you blush-mad girls who are keen, I think this is not too bad a deal to check out.
Happy Monday ya'll!

- ParisB of My Women Stuff gets us thinking about money! Wanna know if what you're buying is actually worth the price you're paying? Keyword: Cost per wear. Geez. And I've never actually looked at things that way before. Eeks!
- Don't have time in the morning to preen to your heart's content? No problem. Nikki of Askmewhats does it in just five easy steps in FIVE minutes! And she even has product recommendations.
- Can't tell if you're wearing too much makeup? Yes? No? Maybe so? Yani of Red Luscious Lips has six easy pointers to see if you've gone a little too far with the war paint.
- I think I just found me another lipbalm lemming. After stocking on three tubes of Nivea's Pink Grapefruit (which is yummilicious, btw), Beetrice of Beetrice's Review HAD to share about Nivea's Fruity Shine lipbalm in Pomegranate. Eeps!
- Lipglosseating Jenn has been a busy, busy bee, but she still manages to share a really funny story. With awesome MAC Spring Colour Forecast swatches to boot!
- Wanna get a Hot Mama? Connie of Skindeco gives her take on this blush. Sorry boys, it IS only a blush.

Monday's Beauty Roundup: February, 2010
Hello lovelies, and hallo-ah March!
Jiminy Crickets, it's March already. Third month into the year and things are generally looking bright and cheery on my end (apart from a sore throat that's turned into a wheezing cough. Bah. Humbug!). I hope March will be a great month for you.
With that said, let's have a look at what the other beauty blogging sista's have been up to in February.

- Connie of Skindeco shares her love for The Body Shop's Honey & Oat 3-in-1 Scrub Mask. And tells a little heartwarming tale along with it.

- Nikki of Askmewhats shares her love for this Kerastase hairmask which she says makes her hair all lovely and shiny. And who doesn't love shiny hair, right? Of course right.

Monday's Beauty Roundup: January, 2010
Hello ladies! Happy Monday ya'll. Can you believe it? Jan is gone! (Geez, that was fast.) So since it's the first day of Feb and all, what better day to give you ladies all a roundup of what my fellow beauty-crazy sistas have been raving about in the first month of Twenty-ten.
Happy reading ya'll!
- Think you can skimp on neck cream? Yani of Red Luscious Lips thinks not. And gives her take on Strivectin's offering.
- Never heard of Steam Cream? Nevermind, ParisB of My Women Stuff tells us what it is.
- If you're still stuck with no idea on how to kick-start your 2010 (you're just a wee bit late, by the way), Beetrice of Beetrice's Review has a great idea: Operation declutter!
- Connie of Skindeco gives us an excellent 101 on eyeshadow base and primers. Don't know the difference? All the more reason to read it.
- Want a great and affordable makeup palette? Nikki of Askmewhats seems to have found one from NYX.
- Jenn the Lipglosseater thought she could have porridge in the shower. Then again, maybe not.
- Have you found your perfect conditioner? Xin of Prettybeautiful tells us about hers.
- Lenses for vanity? Plue of Beauty Up My Life gives her thoughts on Freshkon Mosaic Cosmetic Contact Lenses.
Happy reading ya'll!
