FOTD: A muted glam look for wedding dinners ~

'Tis the season to be married. Or so it seems.

From September up till the end of the year, I've had no less than 10 wedding invites. And boy is it fun dressing up.

And this, dear lovelies, seems to be pretty much the look I've been donning for wedding dinners. With slight variations at each wedding, of course.

This was the face I wore to a friend's wedding this past Saturday, and I opted for a slightly muted glam look. I amped up the eyes a little - complete with eyeliner and a light coat of mascara. (I don't wear mascara much, so this was definitely a treat!) And for the rest of the face, I chose to keep it simple, and slightly muted.

And here's the breakdown of what I used for this look.

FACE

Foundation: Estee Lauder Double Wear Light in 2.0 (which I am now loving very much. I should get a full-size tube).
Concealer: ZA Concealer Perfection in #2
Powder: MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Plus
Blush: Cargo blu_ray blush in Pink and MAC Pink Swoon for a light pop.

EYES

Base: Make Up For Ever (MUFE) Aqua Cream in #2
Eyeshadow: Urban Decay NAKED palette (mainly Toasted and Hustle, with Creep over the eyeliner on the bottom lashline.
Eyeliner: Prestige Waterproof Automatice Eyeliner in #04 Smokey Green (which actually looks really brown).
Mascara: SilkyGirl Double Intense Waterproof Mascara in #01 Very Black.

LIPS

Lipbalm: Lucas Papaw Ointment (just a dab to condition the lips before you start applying makeup).
Lipstick: Christian Dior Serum de Rouge in #460 Pinky Mauve (incredibly pretty shade, LOVE it!).
