Lipbalm addicts of the world rejoice!

Okay. Maybe not the world. Just those here in Malaysia.

Because we have some new and pretty darn fab lipbalms in the house! By lipbalm giants Mentholatum and Nivea, no less.

Since coming across this post in My Women Stuff, and this post in Belle Demoiselle, I've been pretty much on a lipbalm hunt. They looked absolutely delightful in the reviews, and Pink Guava particularly called out to me as it seemed like a possible alternative to my much loved Nivea Pink Grapefruit (which seems to have gone MIA in the market).

After much scouting around, I finally came across them in Watson's at IPC (Ikano Power Centre), and I settled on Nivea Fruity Shine in Pink Guava (RM6.70); and Mentholatum Lipice Water Colour Lip Moisturisers in #02 Fantasy Pink and #03 Kissy Pink (RM11.80 each). I believe they were on sale.

I get the feeling you'll have better luck finding them at the bigger drugstores, so you might want to start looking there.

So far I've only been playing with Pink Guava, and I haven't really tested out the other two, so I'll talk about those another day. Although, their simple and slim black packaging reminds me of Stage's lipsticks. Hmm...

Not entirely a review, but here's photos of the Nivea's Pink Guava...

And a swatch...

Do I love it? You bet I do. And if you haven't had enough of the Pink Guava, let me know in the comments and I'll do a proper review next.

Have a great weekend lovelies!

I have been hunting everywhere here in SG for Grapefruit, but no luck. :( Bought Pink Guava and am happy with it, but boy do I miss my Grapefruit lipbalm!

Sorry for the late replies ladies!

Fables: Yes ma'am!

Anon: It's also not available in Hong Kong. I'm guessing it's been phased out or they're reworking the formula/packaging. Let's hope it's the latter.

xin: Wah. That's fast! I'm liking it a lot too! But I've only started on my first tube. I might stock up on another tube. Just in case. Seeing how everyone seems to have problems finding it. Hmmm.. lol.

Plue: IPC Watson's definitely has it. If you're in the area. =)
