Travel Beauty 3: The Makeup

And now for the really juicy bit - the cosmetics I have chosen above all others to travel with me. I have decided on a pretty, fresh-faced basic look (pic below) that, with swipe of black shadow or red lipstick, can be made smoulderingly dramatic for night.

Read on to see what I'm toting along to maintain this look above!

  1. Simple eye makeup removing wipes. Because what goes on, must come off!
  2. Soap & Glory Glow Crazy - this is more as a solid perfume than for the shimmer, which doesn't hurt.
  3. Silk Natural Lippies in Seedy (BB Blue Raspberry clone), and Hot Blooded (a warm, wearable red with gold shimmer).
  4. Lise Watier Toscana Eyeshadow Quartet in Mer. I really really LOVE these eyeshadows!
  5. J Lynne mineral glow in Bronze. More fine gold than bronze, this is be a great highlighter.
  6. J Lynne Mineral Foundation - don't you love how mineral foundations are mostly non-liquid and present no problems at all when travelling?
  7. The Body Shop's Mascara because its travel sized.
  8. Pout retractable Lip Brush.
  9. Silk Naturals blushes in Climax and Babydoll (I'm going to try and smuggle a tube of clear lipgloss past security as well to blend these with).
  10. Silk Naturals bronzer in Tahiti Sweetie (dupe of Benefit's hoola)
  11. Silk Naturals Oil Control Primer (am still testing this one!)
  12. There's also a teeny tiny tube of Blinc Mascara to slick over the Body Shop Mascara to waterproof it. Can you spot it? It's nestling behind the Lise Watier compact!
  13. Oops forgot to include in the picture my Bourjois Black Eyeliner.

What a cute makeup bag!

Mineral makeup sample pots are great for traveling, aren't they? Small and very portable. Just have to make sure they don't spill :)
