Hey Syen, how do you tell whether it is a good day to wear moisturiser or no? Most blogs and sites say you must wear moisturiser even if you are an oil slick, some say it is to prevent more oil overproduction.
What is your opinion on this?
Generally I don't cleanse in the morning unless I am oily - a splash and it's spf15 moisturiser after.
my dermatologist told me once that you must cleanse your face twice a day. but never more than twice.
over cleansing strips the oil off your face which makes your skin secrets more oil.
i hate using moisturizer too. but since its part of the routine. i apply very very lil. lol
cool... u use b.liv pro sebum gel too and now it's called something 'off with those heads'. nice name and i love their webby...

Petra: I don't usually wear moisturiser in the mornings unless my face feels particularly dry. This is mainly coz my face gets even oilier if I do, and makeup slides even faster. However, I do make sure it gets a good dose of hydration at night.
Another reason is because I also apply serum and sunscreen, and my face (these days at least) feels smooth enough as it is without needing to apply moisturiser.
While most blogs and beautinistas will tell you heaps of "rules", I personally feel that you are the best judge of your own skin. By trial and error, you would know what works best for you and what doesn't. I personally don't feel the need to apply moisturiser in the morning, but hey, I'm not stopping anyone else if they need or want to. =P
LyNn: I don't usually wash my face that many times in a day anyway. =P
But if I do need to wash more than twice, I find using a washcloth helps. It cleans your face thoroughly without the need of a cleanser, and it also acts as a mild exfoliation for the skin. Excellent. =)
Beautybell: Yeap, I do. Love this stuff. Thanks for stopping by and commenting! =)
I enjoy reading the beauty profiles!
